      <image:caption>Our younger generations are doing incredibly well. Even with the pressures of modern life and social media, they are still charging forward and finding their way amongst it all. Sometimes though, we all need a little help - and our younger generations are no different. Despite their incredible resilience - in recent times we are seeing an alarming rise in anxiety, mental health issues, social angst and more, so we need to step forward and do what we can to support those in need. As well as the above, unsurprisingly we are also seeing more and more digestive issues, diet sensitivities, allergies and emotional imbalances. Jeff enjoys working with younger generations, and helping them understand what balance feels like for their heads and their bodies, and how they can stay strong. It’s an important place to start in the context of modern living, and an important step towards healthy personal change and growth in the future. The younger your child the more you will need to be involved. Support for any sort of change is helpful, and as a child or younger adult, someone else beside you going the same direction makes all the difference. Light heartedness and relatability are also paramount for kids to be able to learn, have fun and feel comfortable, and so sessions with Jeff are both flexible and tailored - with varying levels of participation from parents or carers at different times.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Anxiety - Anxiety.</image:title>
      <image:caption>Unfortunately there are far too many of us experiencing the uncomfortable and often destabilizing effects of Anxiety, and if not us personally, then likely it is someone we know and care about dearly. Happy, beautiful and kind people alike, from all ages, and from all walks of life are suffering it’s effects.. At the same time our community as a whole is confused by Anxiety, finding it difficult to support people and to properly understand, especially when so much of our modern way of life just seems to make it worse. Jeff himself has had years of personal experience dealing with the effects of strong Anxiety. It was a limiting, cruel and sometimes even destructive force in his life and years were spent both in confusion as to why, and in effort to alleviate it. Fortunately at the end of it all - Jeff has come to understand Anxiety intimately, personally and practically. So where do we start? To begin with when dealing with Anxiety, we always start by talking to others - parents, siblings, psychologists, counsellors, therapists, kind and wise friends, we open up and get things moving by talking and we work through what we can. We begin to recognise and talk about difficulties, we try to take care of ourselves and others better, and do what we can to relieve any unhealthy pressures we are under. Alongside this, perhaps we make some simple changes in the pace of our lives to support us further. Now sometimes - fingers crossed we are lucky and that’s all that’s needed. But in truth for a lot of us, that just doesn’t seem to be enough. The next step is the body. Working with Jeff We need to understand that “anxiety can not only be established or triggered in an individual from an event or from difficult circumstances - but importantly, it can also arise simply as a result of an imbalanced body.” Jeff’s aim is to help you understand Anxiety physically and most importantly - practically. He will give you things to do, things to not do, as well as a way of looking at your life and habits simply and easily so you can see what’s causing that Anxiety to arise in the first place. He’ll help you regain your sense of strength and stability - and help you come to a better understanding of balance in your own life. Anxiety is something we all need to address together, to support each other with, and to understand better as a community.       <image:caption>Years of authentic Zen Training, Meditation, Yoga, Qi Gong, Ayurveda and even Burmese Kick Boxing, have led Jeff along a unique and challenging path. The experiences and challenges all along the way, beginning at the ripe old age of 15, have shaped and re-shaped, tested, encouraged, humbled, and in turn refined a certain perspective, a certain awareness of life. Importantly - they have encouraged the question “what do we all share in common, that really matters at our deepest core, that is truly truly valuable to us all. In this life, right here, right now.” Each of these generous and fruitful “paths” - whether Burmese Martial Arts, Zen practice or Qigong, have all pointed to varying degrees, to look to a much deeper level. To get off the drama filled surface, to stop feeding the unhealthy momentum born from superficial and reactive thinking and acting. To slow down our internal world, to pause - and to reconnect with our Original Momentum. The momentum which speaks for what each of us really want in this life. The Momentum that asks us to realise for ourselves that true strength and stability in life does not come from the objects we cling to around us, the body we wear that will surely decline, or the ideas we hold to desperately in our heads. For all these are fundamentally unreliable no? Do they not change and pass? So what doesn’t. What can we - each of us, truly rely on. What is always there for us? What is this present moment and how we can train to meet it with a full heart of love, a full mind of wisdom and a full belly of strength and stability. The depths of our hearts, for the vast majority of us, are completely unknown. Our patience, our care, our strength, our love, our wisdom, all sitting there patiently. How unknown and vast “now” is, what is there if we slow down to see. All so available….. So we slow down. We learn to apply wise context to life and it’s situations, we stay in touch with our hearts, we learn the vast difference between reacting and instead responding. We free up the Qi’s movement in our body to feed our health and balance, we practice remembering that thinking and thought is not “us”, its not who we are - it is simply like steam coming off a bath. Its just a process that bubbles away. What we pick up and choose to believe out of those thoughts, that’s the real impact, thats what matters, what shapes us. So these practices, these “ways” of great depth, great value - they help us to restore our balance, strength, and our connection with others, the world seemingly “out there”, and most importantly with ourselves. They remind us of what we ACTUALLY care about when it really comes down to it. They encourage us to stay right there, and to live fully and brightly, in whatever way is true for you. Or do we want to be full of regret when our time is up? Re-contacting what really matters in the depths of our heart for each of us is the goal. Then living freely with the strength thats given to us by knowing clearly what is valuable is the path we follow. Jeff’s hope is that we all remember this place in ourselves.</image:caption>
